It was in 1991 when BODUM® was asked by the renowned British Tea Council to develop a way of brewing tea. That’s when the famous tea press system was born: a spacious strainer lets the tea leaves swirl freely and develop a full flavor bouquet while allowing you to stop the brewing process at just the right moment. Different teas take different brewing methods: for green teas e.g. we’ve developed a variety of teapots with strainers in all different shapes and sizes – find yours here.
