General Terms & Conditions
Deliveries are made only inside Sweden. Deliveries are not made to PO BOX numbers.
Delivery is usually made within 6 business days. Should an article be currently out of stock, we will let you know as soon as possible when delivery can be expected. Delivery is at the risk of the consignee.
You can rest assured that your order will arrive promptly and in perfect condition. For orders over DKK 500.00, delivery will be made free of charge. For orders up to DKK 500.00, delivery charges are DKK 100.00.
Our goods are shipped with FedEx, during working hours and we would appreciate if you could make sure that somebody is available to accept your consignment.
All prices are in DKK, and are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate.
Please be aware that you pay Danish VAT when you order on our Online Shop.
Terms of payment
The goods are delivered against payment by credit card (Master Card, Visa Card, and American Express).
Your purchase of BODUM® products are covered by a 2 year warranty from date of invoice. The warranty does not cover defects or damages resulting from the use, maintenance or care of products in breach of BODUM®s instructions.
We strongly advised you to read the relevant instructions and recommendations in the manual enclosed with the product.
Important: Please keep the invoice with you. Without proof of purchase, we cannot assure your guarantee will be covered.

Extended return period for Christmas 2014
Any Christmas gifts purchased on Bodum's website in the period from November 20, 2014 to December 24, 2014 can be returned up until January 18, 2015
Right to cancel
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us BODUM® (SKANDINAVIEN) A/S, Humlebæk Strandvej 21, 3050 Humlebæk, Phone +45 49 14 80 00, fax +45 49 18 18 44 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org) of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including costs of originally delivery. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than
(a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
(b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
(c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; In any event will not incur any fees as a result of repayment. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline ismet if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Security and Privacy
BODUM ® is committed to protecting your privacy. All personal information we have received will be used solely for the purpose of processing orders. We will not sell trade or rent your personal information to third parties.
Customer Data Security
If you send us an order containing information about your account, we will provide access to a security server. Security software (SSL) encrypts all information that you enter before it is sent to us. In addition, all customers will be protected against unauthorized access by third parties.
It goes without saying that any data required by us for order processing purposes will be treated as strictly confidential.
Goods will remain the property of
BODUM® (Skandinavien) A/S until payment has been made in full.
Claims for compensation due to mistakes in illustrations, prices or texts, or due to late delivery or failure to deliver, are strictly excluded. The color of the products displayed in the online shop may deviate from the actual product color.
Our General Terms and Conditions apply to all deliveries and services. An order becomes binding as soon as you send it to us.
