General Terms & Conditions
Our General Terms and Conditions apply to all deliveries and services. You should understand that by ordering any of Bodum’s products, you accept our General Terms and Conditions as well as our Data Privacy Statement.
Your order is an offer to us to buy the product(s) in your order. You are deemed to have placed an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. After placing an order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order and containing an order reference number and details of the product(s) you have ordered (Order Confirmation). Please note that the Order Confirmation is acknowledgment that we have received your order and does not mean your order has been accepted by us. All orders are subject to our acceptance of your offer to buy the product(s) ordered. We will only accept your offer (and form the contract of sale) when we send you an e-mail confirming that the product has been dispatched (Dispatch Confirmation).
In order to process your order, we need to know your name, phone number, e-mail address, postal address, credit card number with expiry date and security code.
Deliveries are made only inside Norway. Deliveries are not made to PO BOX numbers.
Delivery is usually made within 10 business days. Should an article be currently out of stock, we will let you know as soon as possible when delivery can be expected. Delivery is at the risk of BODUM, i.e. the goods will be your responsibility from the time of delivery.
You can rest assured that your order will arrive promptly and in perfect condition. For orders over NOK ___, delivery will be made free of charge. For orders up to NOK ____, delivery charges are NOK ____.
Our goods are shipped with a carrier our choice, during working hours and we would appreciate if you could make sure that somebody is available to accept your consignment.
All prices are in NOK, and are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate.
Please be aware that you pay Norwegian VAT when you order on our Online Shop.
Terms of payment
The goods are delivered against payment by credit card (Master Card, Visa Card, and American Express).
Your purchase of BODUM® products are covered by a 2 year warranty from date of invoice. The warranty does not cover defects or damages resulting from the use, maintenance or care of products in breach of BODUM®s instructions.
We strongly advised you to read the relevant instructions and recommendations in the manual enclosed with the product.
Important: Please keep the invoice with you. Without proof of purchase, we cannot assure your guarantee will be covered.
Complaints about defects or about incomplete or incorrect deliveries must be notified within a reasonable period of time after discovery of the defects and/or incomplete/incorrect deliveries and, in any event within 3 years from receipt of the goods, to BODUM® (SKANDINAVIEN) A/S, Humlebaek Strandvej 21, 3050 Humlebaek, Denmark. Phone +46 8 716 91 60 or e-mail [email protected]). Notification within two months after discovery of the defects and/or incomplete/incorrect deliveries is always considered timely.
Please note that the color of the products displayed in the online shop may deviate from the actual product color.
Right to cancel
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us BODUM® (SKANDINAVIEN) A/S, Humlebaek Strandvej 21, 3050 Humlebaek, Denmark. Phone +46 8 716 91 60 or e-mail [email protected]) of your decision to cancel this contract by making a clear statement. You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including costs of original delivery. It is your responsibility to take reasonable care of the goods and we may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and normally within
(a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
(b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
(c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event Bodum will not incur any fees as a result of repayment. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation of this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Security and Privacy
BODUM ® is committed to protecting your privacy and it goes without saying that any data required by us for order processing purposes will be treated as strictly confidential. Your data protection and privacy rights are set out in our Data Privacy Statement.
Customer Data Security
If you send us an order containing information about your account, we will provide access to a security server. Security software (SSL) encrypts all information that you enter before it is sent to us. In addition, all customers will be protected against unauthorized access by third parties.
Goods will remain the property of BODUM® (Skandinavien) A/S until payment has been made in full.
